ChristChurch Vision Statement
ChristChurch has agreed as its purpose:
… to work together and with other ecumenical partners in Grantham, to show Gods love to the local community, through worship, prayer and practical action.
,,, to develop town centre Ministry.
… to serve the poor and marginalised in the town and in other countries through such initiatives as Commitment for Life, Methodist Relief and Development Fund, support the Make Poverty History campaign, Grantham Passage and Grantham Poverty Concern.
The Church exists to:
… increase awareness of God's presence and to celebrate God's love.
… help people to learn and grow as Christians, through mutual support and care.
… become a good neighbour to people in need and to challange injustice.
… make more followers of Jesus Christ.
ChristChurch has developed its mission using the five Marks of Mission:
to proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom

to teach, baptise and nurture new believers.

to respond to human need by loving service
(TEND)
to seek to transform unjust structures of society
(TRANSFORM)
to strve to safeguard the integrity of creation, to sustain and renew the life on earth
(TREASURE)
WE WILL UNDERPIN EVERYTHING WE DO WITH GOD-CENTERED WORSHIP AND PRAYER.
